[Opinion] [Unpopular] [Battlestar Galactica 2004] Ugh

tl;dr:
PROs: looks great; viable characters
CONs: overall plot writing, significance of character autonomy (nill), and vapid, meandering, false wisdom spouted by the Cylons :: most egregiously: there never was a Plan
Each episode is a frustrating mixture of meaninglessness and mirth, often punctuated by utter confusion/amazement as to what had just been said, and the time it took within an episode or arc to reveal a big nothingburger of a reveal.
I'm watching it straight through for the first time and I am dreading how much longer I still have to go.
