Turning and turning
in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot
hear the falconer;
Things fall apart;
the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy
unleashed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide
is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence
is drowned;
The rest
lack all conviction,
while the worst
Are full-of-passion.
Some certain revelation
is at hand, for sure
Second to none
coming in to land.
Hardly are those words spat out
When a vast image
out of Darkness Shadows
my sight:
Somewhere
in a sandy desert
A snake
with lion's head,
Nimbused by the dark sun,
Moves slowly, overland
All about it:
Shadows dancing,
Desert gore birds
tilt, Aswirl.
The darkness, like bass
drops, again, real-low;
...but now I know
That a twenty-overpressure
wave can wreak...
Centuries of stony sleep
A nightmare cradle,
Such rough beasts,
Their hour come at hand,
The thin line drawn
before Unicorn Town
is ever reached
...yeah
