[Jazz Theory]

I have a folder, headed, 'Jazz Violence' where works of mine which likely abuse the 'Jazz' moniker are safely kept away from my more acceptable Jazzly endeavours.

I have joked in the past about a sort of rivalry with the guys at Open Jazz Studio in St. Louis, MO., but the fact is that I catch a video-short of theirs, or as I am learning about some other aspect of Western Tradition music, I run across some related video from them and I watch and learn ... something.

This piece came about after a minute or two into Adam Mannes' lesson on VIths from Vths...
