Update on My Father-

Mum just phoned and said that my father is practically wheeling himself out of the hospital, and that they'll return shortly.

The man's Con score would be darn near 19, me thinks.

  1. Excellent news, Timeshadows. I am glad that you and your father are improving. Sometimes a long weekend does wonders. Or watching Pulp Fiction.

  2. Very glad to hear that. Here's hoping he continues to improve. :)

  3. Awesome news! Older generations of fathers tend to be more sturdier than newer generations. Must have been something they didn't put in the water :)

    Congrats on a recovering dad!

  4. Between my father and mother, they had just about every childhood disease possible and still live. Beyond that, he has had Malaria, Bells Palsy, several hear attacks, a stroke or two, a triple bypass, and a defibrillator installed, and can still function remarkably well.
    The man is a he-goat! :D

  5. Good to hear. These kind of things always remind me of an Amish guy I used to know (yes I live in PA). When he used to hear people complain about having a bad day he'd shake his head. "Everyday is a good. Try missing one." And it sounds like your day got better.

  6. Great news. My Father-in-Law, also 88, is as spry as they come and is travelling with us to Japan in a couple of weeks. They don't make 'em like they used to!

  7. Tim, Groakes,

It may yet prove serious, but for the present time we are happy he's home and not miserable in the hospital.

    Thanks again, All,
