  1. I think it looks good - it reminds me of the layout in classic RPG books like the monster manual.

If you're not worried about making it feel too "new" then my suggestion is to break it up into groups of between 5-7 items. People process info better when in smaller groups rather than one long list. I'd also consider changing the order depending on what is most important to a game master scanning through the book, and put the most important block of info at the top. I would also think about use one word for each info category to make scanning down the table a bit easier.

    As an example:

    Abbekqorru
Endless ranks of fierce tech-savvy raiders

    Fighting: 6d8
    Attacks: 1
    Damage: 3d8 or by weapon
    Defence: 14 (06) M Armour
    Special: Surprise +33%

    Move: 45'/90'/270'
    Size: L (7'+ tall)
    Cunning: 08-12
    Disposition: Orderly & Vicious

    Frequency: Uncommon
    Terrain: Ubiquitous
    Number: 6d6
    In Lair: 25%
    --Loot:

    Psychic: ?
    --Powers: ?
    Magnitude:

  2. Stuart: Thank you. I had considered breaks in the template.
--I can always count on you for good technical input. Much appreciated. :D
---I'll toy around with the order and number of divisions, but yours looks good. :)

  3. You're very welcome. :)

One more thing I should have added... I personally like it when a book with unusual words and names has a phonetic spelling to accompany it. That might break the "look" you want, but it's something to consider.

    eg. Abbekqorru (ey-bek-kwawr-oo)

  4. (Ahb-Beh-K'-Orr-Roo), as the letters (and ', if present) are read in pairs. :D
