Out of the pea-green and gold-chased porcelain tub Syil stepped onto the white fur rug. There was a chill at this time of year, despite the lake’s steady release of stored starheat. Morning fog was now a constant. The braziers of Autumnal coloured coals warmed portions of the tiled room, reflected the radiance, and the towels, rug, and other plush accoutrements made for islands of cozy in an otherwise cold room. Syil stood, nude, before the full length window which could open to the small balcony if it weren’t so cool outside. Her pale reflection against the fogged glass made her think of -- her wife, her Love... Yet, despite this, Syil looked out through a swiped spot dappled in beads of water, at Bluewater, lit by Metaluna, now almost in full splendour. It was cruel; for both of them; how could they survive this separation?
