[Music] ** Updated **
There are two takes of this one day of filming; this is the version I wanted to call out for the solo on the tail-end of the song. It reminds me of a combination of Jethro Tull and Jefferson Airplane. The bassist reminds me of Ronnie James Dio.

RENAISSANCE
[Life]
This was on my birthday, 2005.
If only we had met then...
I had just got out of two terribly painful relationships, was so damn sad about life and how everyone plays games with love, and I was looking for a new direction in my life.
If we had me then, I'd never had gone into Security, and I'm certain my writing career would had taken off with her guiding hand and encouragement, and we both could had been spared so much pain in our lives...
Funny how things work in this Grand Tapestry of life and love.

And while I've yet to taste Her fruit
-- I came, for keeps
you see
Perhaps I'm just a fool for that
But I'll be judge 'n jury, please

Those other girls who fashioned songs
trappers on Her blaz'ed trail
undine She slipped their tangled vines
-- so wild
they still think themselves divine
Suzanne
Surface reflections they,
never saw the depth
-- not a fish aswim, like me
just paper glued on sticks
Vicious whims, you see
Suzanne
Mere imitations: desert sands, geese
on the wing could-not keep pace,
just girls with vagrant memories,
blinding glitter of highland lakes
and of cliffs fallen to the Sea
Suzanne
Paltry discard, She, in their eyes
Damned-sad Summer-Ditchers
Friendships of detached limbs
eclipsed supernovas and cast off
satellites driving costly orbits
Suzanne
Let me very clearly state this fact:
Fury rises in my throat, I choke,
vomit forms its way to my lips,
while others-playing won't make due
to placate their poisoned profits pill
Suzanne
This one thing I'm confident:
blame's been all their earnings --
unable to go that second mile
She is and will be always
this Wonderful Sea, I'm yearning
