I, on the other hand watched this right at the beginning of the news of the first cases coming to national attention. I think it flavoured my core-view of the 'demic and, as a result, my experience was very different from a lot of others'.
I have watched it since, and still laugh, so it may actually be funny -- dumb-funny, but that is part of its charm and hook.
