Shipwrecked survivors of a galaxy-spanning empire (ruined when the core exploded) settle upon a wetlands world occupied by humans and other species. They then poke through ruins of their Ancient ancestors as they strive to regain space and then, starflight.
Appreciated. I am currently in another room, awaiting next big snow to see if it happens again, but in the meanwhile the initial problem has been eliminated or forestalled, (and bleached) to determine if I am returning to the original basement apt.
Has the flooding/housing issue been resolved? More concern than curiosity.
