The Home Stretch-

Today I unloaded the last of it to the editor, who promptly returned it with corrections and suggestions for re-arranging paragraphs.

Do you folks want separate .pdfs for Background, Character Creation, Combat, Adventuring and Exploration, Critters, and Equipment? Or, do you want player stuff in a PHB, and Referee stuff in a RM? A single .pdf?

Thanks,

  1. I'd say separate player and referee documents. :)

  4. Hmmm. I think seperate player and referee books could be best way.

One thought occured to me though - which could end up meaning more work. That being that the "Players' Manual" could present information in a different context to the "Referees' Manual". For example, the "PM" may present information on critters from a character's perspective - what they look like, what they smell like etc with blank spaces for them to fill in information as they find it out. Perhaps even folkloric descriptions of abilities etc. The Ref's manual of course has all the specific (and true) detail on the beasties - attack types, movement rates, spells and abilities etc...

Similiarly with magic and tech, there should be things that the players believe or understand in the PM and what reality is in the RM...

    Sorry!
