My music does not diminish others work, as in, I am not removing good music from reality by my work being inserted into the fabric of history on the dates upon which my work is posted -- it isn't Antimatter Music -- both Charlie Parker and Bach will survive its arrival.
However, what wouldn't survive, is my expression, if I were to conform to your Standards (Jazz or otherwise) and further, it seems strange that of, The Music Professor, and Chris from Implied Music, both elder statesmen of Western Tradition Music, both notably more accomplished in accolades than your works, neither of them at their meanest (low, base, surly) would ever do more than chide me -- which begs the question:
To whom are your reassurances of your own merit aimed?
¶ Also, a shout out to Jameson Nathan Jones, and, David Bennett, the two others with whom I interact, and neither who have once ribbed me, but only, perhaps, riffed-on my work to serve as a lesson, or video topic.
To think, what? - 17 months ago?, that non-musical me would have such an effect on the music world...
-- Clearly, I owe it all to You, Marissa,
