I am reminded of reading how Covid saw you watching Dateline and Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack.

I, on the other hand watched this right at the beginning of the news of the first cases coming to national attention.  I think it flavoured my core-view of the 'demic and, as a result, my experience was very different from a lot of others'.

I have watched it since, and still laugh, so it may actually be funny -- dumb-funny, but that is part of its charm and hook.
