After our snack-meal, you light a cigarette.  I observe; you look as if that means I disapprove.  I smile and shake my head, and with a chin nod, you pause and inhale.
I continue to observe, and you reach to give me one; I shake my head.

Instead, I rise and sit beside you and purse my lips and suck in air.  You wordlessly shotgun and I inhale.
I smile and we gaze awhile.  I exhale.
