SET EMBER 22
(The Day of the Setting Sun)
Once the seventh month, now forgotten in the drift of calendars, September marked the evening of the year—the equinox where balance and descent were one. The ancients called it the Day of Two Horizons: when the light and the dark negotiated their truce, and the Red God crossed the sky with the fading sun in His arms.
The music remembers this hour. It moves as the wind over cooling fields, as embers breathe their last gold into the dusk. Beneath its calm pulse lies the old reckoning: the sound of a world poised between dominion and surrender, storm and silence. It is neither lament nor triumph, but the stillness of the moment before return—the hush that crowns the year.
